Good day!
Now we have been in Pitcairn for a week, and it is time to look the direction of home. In our stay we have been sightseeing both on land and at sea, we have gotten to know a great bunch of people, tried to be a part of a different culture and had a lot of fun.
Now there is only one thing left to do. Something that makes sure we will remember how special this week has been, the symbol of this stay, what we show of when we get home… the souvenir!
We end up buying a
glass of Pitcairn honey and a bunch of stamps. Stamps are their biggest source of
income, even though they only sell them to passing ships and the few tourists
that come by.
Good bye, Pitcairn, or maybe see you late, you never know we might run out of stamps.
